http://www.lyoneyecosmetic.com | For a browlift I prefer general anesthesia with the patient asleep in an Outpatient Surgicentre. This allows for maximum comfort. After opening up the tissues the brow is lifted of the underlying structures and loosened from binding attachment to re-position and drape it at an appropriately higher position. Done properly this avoids any hint of a surprised look. This is then fixed in place with sutures. After the procedure ice compresses and salves are used to speed recovery. Varying degrees of browlift are now possible with newer less intrusive techniques.
