How is the midface lift performed

Rating: 5 (out of 5) | A midface lift, often combined with other procedures such as fat repositioning and lower eyelid repair is usually done under a combination of local and general anesthesia. A lash line incision is made below the lower eyelashes or inside the lower eyelid. The skin is then lifted off the cheek together with underlying tissues. Fat can be sculpted and reposition to plump up the new cheek and to smooth the overlying skin. The underlying support tissues are then attached to the eye socket wall to secure a permanent support for the midface lift.
