How does a neck lift work

Rating: 5 (out of 5) | Your neck lift involves a small incision below your chin and two additional incisions around the bottom of your earlobes. Your skin is then lifted off the underlying tissue system under anesthetics. Fatty areas may be sculpted also. Then the underlying tissue system called the SMAS is tightened to strengthen and suspend it with deep tissue sutures.  Additional tightening in the central neck may be used. Any excess skin is then trimmed off and your face is carefully realigned and closed. The neck is often combined with a partial facelift to improve the contours of the jawline.
