Your Needs

Your ophthalmic care requires the most precise detailed evaluation. Initial work-ups will condense a Mayo Clinic or University Hospital 12 hour work up into 4-5 visits, within the constraints of your insurance to accommodate your visual needs. Lyon Eye recognizes that its patients are busy and budgets are as tight as their time schedules.

Our Skills

Your Doctor’s training was intense and prolonged. Seemingly insignificant tests are being tracked, collated and integrated into the vast stores of Opthalmological and biological knowledge with your individual history & unfolding test results. Did you know for example that to you, the seemingly simple Glare Test, can elucidate, when coupled with other test results, your cataract progression, glaucomatous retinal damage, macular degeneration & other eye disorders? We understand that our responsibility & duty is to educate our patients on the nature of their eye disorders, after some potentially uncomfortable eye tests.   Doctor Lyon’s exquisite microsurgical skills were finely honed through the years as a PHD Electron Microscopist & developed with 1000’s of corneal, cataract & refractive surgeries, using diamond knives & laser on the eye. You may benefit from his incorporation of these tactile skills and attention to detail into your OculoFacial reconstructive surgery. We blend the tried and true with newest mini procedures & original techniques developed by Doctor himself. You can enjoy the benefits & results of this experience whilst freshening your looks, and rejuvenating the face you present to the world each day.

Our Ethos

We understand that this level of care may not be right for you. Doctor’s training was to highly exacting standards & uncompromising in its respect to preserve his patient’s vision, and aspiration to salvage blind eyes. We understand that this concept of excellence may not work for you, and that you have a choice, and wish you well at St. Elsewhere.   For those of you who seek the very best care with exhaustive & relentless pursuit of maintaining and salvaging your most precious gift, your eyesight, we welcome you into our practice as an ongoing patient.
